Illustration Friday: Speed
Speed is a teenaged girl with a cell phone and a secret.
Thanks to all commented on last week's entry. We were on vacation last week (Florida, thanks for asking) and I didn't have a lot of time to respond to everyone. I promise to catch up this week.
As always your comments are encouraged and appreciated.

Sooo true!
This is too funny! Thanks for the laugh, Tony.
Fortunately, I do not have any daughters. Just two sons. However, I think they will have equal issues with speed. Like maybe the time it takes them to get up in the morning and out the door for school.
Great job!
Lol...nice take on the topic...
Ha! Great thinking! You must have a teenage girl? Love the illo. Love the original idea.
love
that is spead alright. great concept!
How true that is! It's amazing how quickly those girls text message each other all day long, one hand on the desk, the other under the desk on the phone, right in front of their teachers' unsuspecting (or so they think) eyes! Now if only they could apply that same skill to getting homework done! Fun illo, Tony, and perfect in pink!
Women + phone + secret it's a speedy cobination, great !
Ha-ha how true! Great illo!
right!cool concept and illo...
:)
Pretty picture, but yes, scary, especially those secrets. Really sharp look and idea to this peice.
Seeing your illustration reminds me of my own teen daughter speaking 1000 wpm on her cell phone! Ever see the show, "Blossom?"...with the friend named Six? This is my daughter when she gets all hyped up! LOL! Anyway...great and fun illo!
great take on speed!
As the father of a teenaged girl with a cell phone (and a MySpace), I agree wholeheartedly. 'Tis speed personified. Wonderful.
Makes me wonder if there's a hidden image if you view it under a red light ;)
LOL Reminds me of a Shag illo. Love it!
Hilarious and true. Hope you had a great vacation! :0)
Love the style and colors of this!
You got that one right…
Never would have thought of it – it is a great illo!
Ain't that the truth! Great idea.
I missed two great illos! Both funny but, this one makes me think of Lichenstein - Pop Art with a twist. The best part is that it made me laugh and be thankful that I have two boys. I pray that I wont have to go through that.
Heehee, "Yadda yadda yadda!" All too familiar! An excellent composition and picture!
I don't have much to add, except that this could double for this week's "Spotted." Maybe you should reverse the colours and post it? :)
