Sounds like wise advice, Tony! I love your illustration...it tells it all! The bump on his head is a great detail.

Actually, it works half the time. She just glares back and doesn't say a word, debating a verbal reprise or physical retribution. During that time she is mute.

The other half of the time she just fakes a grin and keeps going.

:-)

Definitely a man experiencing the sense of isolation that goes with "Remote." Good use of dark and light colours, and thought-out composition (I enjoyed the empty space in the scrolldown). Was this done as a vector illo and converted to pixels?

i laughed my butt off man. i don't know if your character was bold or suffering from temporary insanity.

Hi Tony, thanks for visiting. I agree you should do a series of these, I found this really funny and nicely illustrated too.

Thanks for the kind and encouraging words. I will indeed think about putting a series of these together though I wish I had not started with such a high number.
I drew this cartoon completely in Flash MX using Wacom tablet and saved it as a jpg. I think for natural drawing in a vector tool, Flash cannot be beat.

Didn't some other company buy Flash recently? I hope it's going to keep going as it is - a lot of people swear by it!

Ian,

Adobe (the makers of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat) bought Macromedia (Flash, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Freehand). The main reason given for the purchase by Adobe was so they could integrate the PDF format of Acrobat with the SWF format of Flash. Both products' players have an incredibly high penetration on computers (somewhere around 98%)but neither product played well with the other. Now you have the combination of the two major players in the graphic/web design field becoming one company. I don't see how limiting the competition through a merger can possibly be good for the consumer. Of course, no-one asked me.
